Tungaloy proud to be a Gold Member of Made in the Midlands
The annual Made in the Midlands Manufacturing Exhibition will return to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 21st June and promises to be the largest show in its nine year history. Privileged to be supporting the event will be cutting tool manufacturer Tungaloy.
On Stand D3 at the forthcoming event, Tungaloy will be showcasing a host of cutting tool innovations as well as demonstrating how its ‘Dr Carbide’ App can quickly and easily prescribe the right tool for any application.
The first Japanese company to develop cemented carbide, Tungaloy is renowned for its high performing ISO Turning grades. This range has been continually extended with the recent addition of their latest grades, the AH8005, AH8015 & T9215 being particularly prominent.
The new AH8005 and AH8015 have been designed for machining super alloys and are proving hugely successful with unsurpassed tool life on materials such as Inc909, Inc718, Inc625, Hastelloy C-4, 21-43N & TiAl6V4 to name just as few. To support this claim, full test reports are available on request. Alongside the super alloy grades will be the new T9215. Designed for machining ISO P15 steel, this grade was only released in March and has already taken the industry by storm. When tested against the industrial leading grades for P25, the T9215 has proven to more than double tool life on materials such as S55C, SCM440, S32750 & SNCM430. FOC samples of all these grades, as well as many other grades, will be available on the stand, so you can witness the benefits for yourself.
