Hurco to hold Demo Deals Day in October

Every machine on show in the High Wycombe showroom will be available to purchase at a discounted ex-demonstration price. Furthermore, a 20% discount will apply to some new ex-stock models, including the high-capacity, high-torque, 3-axis VMX50Ti vertical machining centre (VMC).
New this year is that similar offers will apply to Hurco machines installed in the dedicated training facility and technical centre at Kirklees College, Huddersfield, with which the machine tool company collaborates to provide engineering apprentice training on CNC milling and turning centres. Opened in 2019, the facility is also used by Hurco for training its customers.
The scope of the offers is extended to accessories fitted to the machines, such as Hurco software and tooling, Renishaw probing, rotary tables and Filtermist units. In some cases, there will be only one machine available at the offer price, indicating that a swift decision to buy is advisable.
On show in the High Wycombe demonstration facility will be nine VMCs, including 4- and 5-axis models, together with three CNC lathes, all under power cutting parts. Premium offers will include a VC500i 5-axis machining centre with 250 kg load capacity, 500 mm diameter table, 40-station toolchanger and linear scales in all axes. The machine is fitted with a twin-screen WinMax control, Renishaw tool and part probing and a full suite of Hurco software including Solid Model Import.
A five-drawer, heavy-duty ProCobot system, the Hurco Profeeder X, will be loading parts into a VMX30Ui 5-axis, trunnion-type machining centre. Since its launch, the ProCobot range has proven to be reliable and easy-to-use, leading to a quick return on investment. This particular model can be fitted to a majority of the machines on show and provides an opportunity to take advantage of the extra discount.

Hurco’s asset finance partners will be in attendance offering flexible payment options, including pause payments at the start of a machine purchase. The machine supplier reminds manufacturers that the 100 percent capital allowance is still in place when new machinery is acquired. Moreover, if a company is on target to record a profit this financial year, investment in a machine tool is a method of reducing corporation tax.
