NEW SALES ENGINEER AT HURCO

As part of a major recruitment push at Hurco Europe as the business continues to grow, JACK BROWN has been appointed Sales Engineer covering an area of North East England from Newcastle down to Nottingham.
With headquarters in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, the company is responsible for Hurco operations in Britain, Ireland, Scandinavia, Africa and the Middle East. It is also sole sales and service agent in the first two markets for the high-precision machining centres built by Roeders in Germany.
New to sales, Jack was formerly an experienced, apprentice trained CNC machine setter and operator at a well-known manufacturing business in Newcastle. He reports to Cliff Hodgkinson, Hurco Sales Manager for Northern England and Scotland. Following comprehensive sales and applications training at Hurco and on the road with Cliff, Jack is visiting new and existing customers in his area.
He said, "Now is a great time to be joining Hurco. In addition to the huge range of 3- and 5-axis machining centres that the company offers, I have the opportunity to sell the new driven-tool lathes and automation solutions."
Hurco is currently looking to recruit an extra applications engineer and another service engineer local to High Wycombe, plus additional staff for customer service, accounts and stores.
