Mission accomplished! MACH 2024 was a huge success for Mills CNC

Mills CNC reports that its attendance at MACH 2024 was a huge success: hundreds of visitors made their way onto the stand (HALL 19 – Stand 11) over the five days and, in addition to generating a significant number of machine tool and automation systems’ leads and enquiries, some 30 machine orders were also taken during the event.
Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has announced that its attendance at MACH 2024 was a resounding success.
Exhibiting 16 machines, including two automated manufacturing cells, from what was the largest stand at the event, Mills CNC with its integrated ‘Technical Odyssey’ and ‘Space Age’ stand concept, welcomed hundreds of visitors onto its stand over the five day event…with many coming back to the stand a second or even a third time!
“The stand looked great and the range and balance of machine tools and automation systems we showcased was inspiring for many and, for visitors not totally up-to-speed with the depth and breadth of our technology portfolio, was a real eye-opener too”, says Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s CEO.
Pride of place on Mills’ stand was the large-capacity, multi-tasking Zayer XIOS G MT horizontal bed mill with integrated turning capabilities. The machine, one of the largest Mills has ever exhibited at a MACH Show, proved to be a real ‘centre of attraction’ with visitors making a beeline for it from day one.

“The Zayer machine certainly proved popular with large component manufacturers, but it wasn’t the only one.
“Our SYNERGi Premier automated manufacturing cell and the latest DN Solutions’ 5-axis machining centres (i.e., the DVF 4000 and the new, next-generation DVF 5000) we showcased were worthy of special mention, as were the SMX multi-tasking mill-turn machine and our two DNT box guideway lathes.”
A cursory glance at the 30 machine tool orders taken at the Show is revealing and further illustrates Mills’ broad technology range, with multiple orders for DN Solutions’ Lynx and Puma lathes and DNM vertical machining centres being taken along with ones for an SMX mill-turn machine, a SYNERGi automated manufacturing cell and two high-speed tapping centres.
Although MACH 2024 is over, the event’s impact will be felt for many months to come, and the company is now actively following up the many leads and enquiries generated at the Show. As well as potentially leading to machine tool orders in the future, a number of leads related to turnkey and process improvement project work, specifically involving Zayer machines.
“MACH 2024 was an extremely important show for us”, says Tony Dale. “It provided a great platform for us to showcase our technologies to UK and Irish manufacturers, and the feedback we have received from customers and visitors alike has been overwhelmingly positive.
“A big shout out needs to go out to our team who put in the hard yards and made the event such a big success.”
