Subcontractor.Live, National Motorcycle Museum, 27th November 2025
Specialist engineering and industrial event organiser The Engineering Network (TEN) has announced the arrival of Subcontractor.Live in the Autumn of 2025. With so many UK manufacturers proactively seeking the ‘Holy grail’ of cost reduction accompanied by quality improvement, the new event will be a valuable platform for them to access UK based businesses providing subcontract services or the equipment for OEMs to do their own thing.
A key element for visitors – who will be drawn from every level of manufacturing – is that every exhibitor offers a UK based service, guaranteeing localised supply chain solutions with assured quality and no international borders or exchange rates to be concerned about.
Amongst other leading industry bodies, the event will be supported by the GTMA. It’s General Manager David Beattie says “With many of our members actively offering UK based subcontract manufacturing and engineering services, GTMA are delighted to support this great event that will help support the growth of the UK manufacturing industry and the supply chain”
TEN md Luke Webster (who has more than 25 years invested in the manufacturing sector) adds “More and more UK manufacturers are seeking localised providers to trust with their subcontract work. And by guaranteeing Subcontractor.Live visitors that every potential supplier they meet at our event has a UK base, visitors can be confident of the highest quality with direct lines of communication, zero worries about international deliveries and the ability to have across-the-table discussions at the drop of a hat”.
TEN’s Mark Newby has spent 42 years in events for manufacturing industry and adds “Many UK based subcontract equipment and service providers have invested heavily to make themselves more competitive on price, quality and response times. This innovative new one-day only event offers them a focused showcase for their skills and capabilities using a low-cost, low effort and proven event format that is unique to TEN”.
Around 100 exhibitors are expected to be present at Subcontractor.Live, with all of them having the same sized shell scheme stand at the event. As with TEN’s other successful events MachineBuilding.Live and FoodManufacturing.Live, every application for a visitor badge will be individually assessed prior to acceptance, allowing the organisers to deliver on their promise of a premium-quality audience on the day.
The event opens at 0830, closes at 1500 and all visitors benefit from free parking, free show entry, a free breakfast roll and brew and free access to the superb motorcycle museum.
