DK Holdings strengthens machining capability

Published: | Industry News

DK Holdings Ltd has further strengthened its in-house machining capability with the addition of a Harrison Alpha 1550XS CNC/manual combination lathe at its Kent-based manufacturing facility.

The investment has been made in response to increasing customer demand and supports the company’s continued focus on delivering high-precision, bespoke diamond tooling solutions.

The Harrison Alpha 1550XS enhances both CNC and manual turning capacity, enabling greater flexibility in the production of complex components, improved lead times, and increased control over quality-critical processes.

Andrew Gentle, Managing Director at DK Holdings, commented: “Continued investment in our machining capability is essential to support the growing demand we are seeing across multiple sectors. The addition of the Harrison Alpha 1550XS allows us to further enhance our responsiveness and maintain the high standards our customers expect when it comes to bespoke tooling solutions.”

This latest addition forms part of DK Holdings’ ongoing commitment to investing in UK manufacturing, ensuring the business remains well-positioned to support both existing partnerships and new project requirements across the globe.

DK Holdings will also be showcasing its capabilities at MACH 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 20th to 24th April, where visitors can meet the team and discuss their application requirements. Find the team at the MAKE UK Pavilion in Hall 17, 541
